General Equipment Needed List

This is a constantly changing list of different equipment and supplies that I'll need for this restoration. Items will stay on this list until I figure out when I need it and then I will move the item to the section of the restoration it will be used in.

Tool List:

Compression Tester [Obtained]

A tool used to check cylinder compression of the engine. Here is one from J.C. Whitney or this one from Amazon.

C.I.S. Tester [Obtained]

A tool used to test the engines injection system. Looking at the one from J.C. Whitney or maybe this one from S.J. Discount Tools.

Torque Wrench [Obtained]

Definitely need one or two of these but I'm still unsure of what to do here. I ended up getting a used Craftsman 1/2". Now I need to find a 3/8". I will most likely true to use E-Bay for it. For future reference, Griot's Garage has a nice 1/2" wrench.

Brake Bleeder

Will need this at some point but it's a ways down the road.

Battery Mat

A piece of special material to put underneath the battery to keep acid from damaging the battery tray. This one looks good.

Kroil Penetrating Oil [Obtained]

A super Penetrating Oil for breaking rusty bolts, etc. This stuff isn't cheap though.

Tool Cart [Obtained]

A tool cart for the garage to keep things organized. Here's one from Harbor Frieght that people have said is good.
